Hello Laker Families,
Thank you for your communication with our teachers during this time. We encourage you to check the TLDSB website (tldsb.ca) for what is happening with labour relations. Updates will be posted there. Teachers will also be reaching out on Monday if the situation hasn’t resolved itself by then.
If unresolved, Monday will be a day of asynchronous learning. Check your teacher’s SeeSaw or Google Classroom for assignments. Teachers will be available via email to assist anyone who needs it.
November is upon us!
We will be running our annual “Coats For Kids” event (November 22-25).
If you would like to donate any winter wear (coats, snow pants, hats, mitts) to this eco-friendly, up cycling event, please send it into the school by November 15th. We will wash & compile the items by size and offer them to any students/families wishing to grab cozy outerwear, we will have it available over the caregiver/teacher interview dates. All the leftover coats will be donated locally. Thank you for your help and please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Check out the fundraisers our School Council have on the go right now. Money raised will support the purchase of equipment, resources and supplies for students as well as help out with paying for field trips.
