If you swing by BPS on a Wednesday after school, you will hear the sounds of students engaged in innovating and creatively problem solving their way through some very tricky robotics challenges. Our BPS robotics teams (coached by parent volunteer, Dave Bowland and our very own Ms. Finlay and Mr. Estok) will be competing in Toronto in early December. Their goal: to deliver water and distribute it through a fictional town by completing as many “missions” as they can in 2 minutes. How do they do it? By using the fundamentals of coding and engineering to experiment with different movements and patterns so the robots will go where they need to go.
