On December 7, members of the Retired Teachers of Ontario/Les enseignantes et enseignants retraités de l’Ontario (RTOERO) District 18 visited Trillium Lakelands District School Board’s (TLDSB) Lindsay Education Centre to make donations towards the breakfast programs at all of the elementary schools within the City of Kawartha Lakes and Haliburton County.
RTOERO members Marlas McInnis, Deborah Pearson, Debbie Peck, and Ward Levine presented a cheque to TLDSB chair of the board, Bruce Reain, and director of education, Wes Hahn.
All donations were provided by members of the RTO and other retired education employees who have worked and lived in the region.
